Hi! How deep does the AutoMate watch the folder structure when "Include subfolders" check is turned on? It seems that it's only one level deep... I have to watch for creation of files "*_rep.pdf" in the following folders: \\server\orders\17-*\preflight\ Notice the mask after "17-". There is hundreds of folders I have to watch. E.g., "\\server\orders\17-2823\preflight\17-2823_rep.pdf" or "\\server\orders\17-2827\preflight\17-2827_rep.pdf". I've tried several variants to tell the AutoMate to do this. First, this way: http://prntscr.com/g9qa48: it doesn't trigger at all. Second, this way: http://prntscr.com/g9qayr: it doesn't trigger either. Third: http://prntscr.com/g9qb9j: it does trigger ONLY if the file is exactly in folder "d:\tmp". If a file is modified in folder "d:\tmp\222", for example, it doesn't care at all. Fourth: http://prntscr.com/g9qd6t: no way Fifth: http://prntscr.com/g9qdjz: no way... Please help, thanks!

Hi ZmejSerow,
The folder monitoring will go down multiple subfolder levels. Based on the examples you cited in your post, if you were trying to create a file condition to find the two files below only in the preflight folders you would set your File System trigger as follows. \\server\orders\17-2823\preflight\17-2823_rep.pdf \\server\orders\17-2827\preflight\17-2827_rep.pdf The folder to monitor would be \\server\orders\, with subfolders included. Next you would set the Include Mask, found under Filters to the following. \\server\orders\17-*\preflight\* This setting will allow you to use a wildcard for the various folders starting with 17- and that contain a preflight folder.

Hi Zmej,
I tested my colleagues instructions on your version and verified the trigger works as expected. I've emailed you a screenshot of the tested configuration for your review. Thanks, Nikki

Thanks for support! Everything works as expected on network share since I've added user credentials in trigger. But on local folders the problem was in my own inadvertence: I've had a space after asterisk in filter section. "C:\Users\zmej\Desktop\tmp\orders\17-*\preflight\* " instead of "C:\Users\zmej\Desktop\tmp\orders\17-*\preflight\*". Hope this topic will help others
