Hi All,

I have to re-configure a proces which is getting using POP3 from our Exchange. In the current situation it's getting the mail by connecting POP3 port 110. In the new situation I need to connect to POP3 (TLS) port995. Running the proces the connection is made, but after a minute the connection has been broken by the server (Error. The server has closed the connection). What is the best way to troubleshoot these kind of problems?

Bob

Hello,

Have you checked the windows event viewer (under application) for any errors?

All errors thrown my AutoMate will be found there or in the Task Administrator.

Hi Ricardo,

Thx for your response. I have checked both logs, but no specifics concerning this proces (connection). It seems that my problem has something to do with certificates, since it's now is using a encrypted connection. I have installed a small POP3 client on the server and this was able to connect and read the mailbox whitout any problems.

Hello,

Just to confirm you installed POP3 on the same machine that AutoMate 10 is installed on?

Hi Ricardo,

Install POP3? No, I'm using Automate as a POP3 client which need to access our Office365 servers. I like to use POP3 protocol to acces them.

Hello,

We did want to verify the security settings for the Email step.

Is it set to Implicit TLS/SSL?

Also are you specifying a certificate?

Is the Ignore invalid server certificate checked or unchecked?
