Hi,

I am new to the automate world and need some assistance with a script that has already been created.  Basically the task connects to a drive and downloads the latest file within a folder.  I am trying to get the automate task to grab only the latest file which gets generated at this location every morning at 2am.

for instance todays file is named: 0001030.txt and the date changes every day.  Tomorrows will be 0001031.txt and next day should be 0001101.txt

How do I modify my task to look for this file?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Yogesh,

You can use the Format Date and Time action to format today's date as you need it, in this case MMDD and store it in a variable. Then use that variable as part of a file copy or download action. The sample steps below illustrate how this can be done.
