I created a workflow that triggers and then just logs Now and the TriggeredDateTime value.

Now = 2018-05-18 13:12:14
Raw AMTRIGGER.TriggeredDateTime = 131711479280196046

I tried Format(AMTRIGGER.TriggeredDateTime, "yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm:ss")% but it resulted in an error - Expression evaluation failed: "Invalid function argument value.".

I would love a suggestion as to how to get that TriggeredDateTime value displayed a little more friendly!

Hello Kathy,

It may be easier to simply create an empty variable, format it using the "format date/time" action and then write the variable to your log. Here is an example of this functionality:

But that doesn't get me the trigger's timestamp... What is the value that AMTRIGGER.TriggeredDateTime holds?? Is it a datetime??

Hello Kathy,

You can still use the "AMTrigger.TriggeredDateTime", but you will need to use it in an additional function to get it to format properly. This will convert it to the date:

CDATE(number) to convert to the date
