Hi,

I was searching on the forums and found about the onsteperror function. Would it be possible to have it email the exact error message? Does automate had a default variable for errors that I can use to pass to my email task?

Hi Kris,

Unfortunately the default 'On Error' email can not be adjusted, we do have a feature request that will add more detail to those emails.

We do apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this has caused.

Kris, you should also look at the %AMError.ErrorDesc% item. If you capture it into a variable in the OnError behavior for the step, that might be what you're looking for.
