Hi,
I loop through files in a directory and store the result in a dataset. For each file found in the loop, I display a message box with the file name. In my test, I have two .txt files in the directory C:\Temp\LoopDataset: File 1.txt File 2.txt In the loop, I get a message box with the filename for both files. But when I check how many rows the dataset contains, it says only 1. Shouldn't there be 2 rows (one for each file)? Later on, I would like to loop through the dataset. But when I try that it only find one entry in the dataset. Regards Erik

Hello,
I would suggest that you use a File System "Get Information" action. You can create a dataset and loop through it. You can also display the totalrows at the end. Let us know if that works for you.
