Hi,

I've noticed weird behavior using this function.

None of help examples are reproducible, unless the file exists in specified path (directory) AND file extension has exactly 3 characters size.

Can you confirm this?

You can reproduce the step as follows:

<AMSHOWDIALOG>RESULT EXPECTED

--- WHEN THERE'S NO FILE
%IncrementFileName("")% | "(1)"
%IncrementFileName(".EXE")% | "(1).EXE"
%IncrementFileName("A")% | "A(1)"
%IncrementFileName("FILE.EXE")% | "FILE(1).EXE"

--- WHEN THERE'S FILES
%IncrementFileName("c:\temp\test.t")% | "c:\temp\test (1).t"
%IncrementFileName("c:\temp\test.tx")% | "c:\temp\test (1).tx"
%IncrementFileName("c:\temp\test.txt")% | "c:\temp\test (1).txt"
%IncrementFileName("c:\temp\test.txtx")% | "c:\temp\test (1).txtx"
%IncrementFileName("c:\temp\test.txtxt")% | "c:\temp\test (1).txtxt"</AMSHOWDIALOG>

PS: I'm using BPA Server Enterprise 10.5.0.56 (x64), on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2012 R2 Operating Systems

Hi Herminio,

We have confirmed that the IncrementFileName action was not working as expected in the 10.5 release. We have since corrected this issue and the function does work as expected in the current 11.0.5.8 release.
