I have just started to take over Reporting and have a Automate 5 runnning on Windows XP, it has some predefined Crystal Reports that update with the previous days activity for sales reps etc etc.

I have noted that the reports keep failing and looked into the issue redsigning and copying the tasks and have all 8 tasks working when being watched or starting the process. When I watch the process everything works fine. However when the tasks run as scheduled (when I am tucked up in bed) the tasks fail.

Any advice or pointers would be most welcome.

Using Automate Professional  5.5.5.1
Windows XP Device SP3HP Compaq dx2250
Dual Core E5800 @ 3.20GHZ

2GB RAM

Crystal reports XI

Hi Anthony,

Can you confirm that AutoMate is unlocking/logging on to the machine successfully?

This will need to be done outside of RDP (sit at the machine or a third party tool like RealVNC).
